Looking for right trim level for the wife. Does the base model have navigation or do you have to get the tech package to get nav? Also, does the base sync to iphones and have cellular interface?

I am trying to justify the price increase to the tech package.

You have to get the Technology package (or the Advance package).

In addition to the navigation system, other features included in the Technology package are voice controls (navigation and audio), Bluetooth audio connectivity, AcuraLink (with the Aha smartphone app interface), a 10-speaker Acura/ELS surround-sound audio system with HD radio, 19-inch alloy wheels, rain-sensing wipers, rear-door keyless entry, GPS-linked and solar-sensing climate control, and lane departure warning, blind spot warning and forward collision warning systems.

I believe that Acuralink AHA and Bluetooth audio connectivity are included on the base package.

Perhaps Edmunds is wrong.

The Acura website should be the gospel on questions like this, as yachthalo mentions. They show features, and whether they are standard (presumably, on all models) or optional (part of the upgrade packages), on their website here.
