As a New Yorker who got fed up w/ long waiting list here, would like to look at option to buy from FL or other SE states, any NE MDX owners with similar experience procured the car there?

1) average wait time for MDX in SE states?
2) any recommedation for reputable dealers/sales staff in FL?

I'm in Huntsville, AL and used the local dealer - Jerry Damson Acura. Overall, I think they're a good dealer, although I did not like my salesman too much. I have yet to use the dealer rating, but they seem to be rated well by others, including someone from out-of-state. I got my MDX very quickly (2 days!), but it must have been due to some cancellation. If you give them a call, they can tell you what they've got coming in to see if there's any you would be interested in.

Not so fast!!

Where in NY are you? If you're in NYC, have you thought about looking upstate? I would assume that wouldn't be a problem if you're willing to go down south. I got my MDX at John Holtz Acura in Rochester in December-- waited 3 mos. When I picked it up, they told me they were now at about a 2 mo. wait.

I don't know where all you've looked or what your time limitations are, but you should probably look upstate before heading too far out of your way.

Don't bother dealing with the Jerks here in Madison. If I had it to do all over again, I would drive a chevy.

Thanx for the input, I'm in long Island (suffolk) where most dealer charges premium+forced option+wait period due to high demand here.

Have a friend lives in west palm beach FL & thinking of pick up a car there & drive back to NY. Once got a response from Performance Acura in NC via internet, although their price is reasonable but there seems to be a 3months wait time too.
