[MDX Max]

Hello everyone --

I would really appreciate some feedback on whether the changes made to the MDX from 2001 to 2002 were significant. By coincidence there are three used 01 Xs in the area where I am traveling. I had PLANNED on waiting for a new 02, but if the money is right, my only hesitation on a used 01 concerns the changes.

From what I have read, 02 changes included:
1) different position for the roof racks = lower wind noise?
2) additional soundproffing and thicker windsheild = lower noise?
3) mirror redesign = no more "weeping," lower noise?

Have I missed anything? Should I try for an 02 due to these or other changes?

You've got the majors, I think. I've really only been in an 02, and have no issues - unlike a lot of the 01 owners out there.

They have also added an intermittent rear windshield wiper for the 02.

I waited for the 02 before I ordered mine after hearing about the changes.
