We recently installed Alexa Auto in our 2017 MDX. We chose the Bluetooth option for connection. It seems to hear Alexa speaking we have to select the Bluetooth source from our MDX stereo vs. being able to leave SiriusXM or FM on and then Alexa's voice just muting the current audio input. We're expecting it to work just like our connected Samsung S9 smartphone when a call comes in. The audio is muted so we can take our call, then when the call is over, the audio source selected continues playing (e.g., SiriusXM). Does anyone know if this functionality is supported for Alexa Auto in the MDX? We can get a clear answer from other sources online. If not supported, does anyone know if connecting Alexa Auto with LINE IN/AUX will work without us having to select that source specifically to hear Alexa when she speaks?
Thanks in advance.

I believe you will need to select the "right" source to use Alexa Echo Auto to play through the speaker.
