Greetings fellow MDX Lovers,

I just got an email from Acura since I am on their mailing list.

It was an AWESOME golf game for the Palm Pilot organizers. It features the Acura MDX when you start the game up and you see the truck spinning around.

It then goes to a complete 18 hole golf game on the organizer. You can even make your own holes and courses.

The file they sent me is less than 100 KB in size (couple of second download) and it unzips to 19 files. 1 for the game and 18 for each hole. Install these on the palm pilot and you will have so much fun.

I am using a Sony Clie 610 which is in color and the game is 100% color for very real effects.

I do not know how topost a file here on the site, but if one of the moderators could do it for me, I would gladly send them the file.

If anyone would like it, send me a message with your email address and I would gladly send it to you.

post it as a zip

Mushman,

Attach it as a .zip file. Simply reply on this forum, and under where you enter your reply in the big box, there is a button that reads 'browse' next to 'Attach File'. Go out and find the zip file and you're done.

Or email me, and I'll post it. I would love to see it.

I am trying to attach the file here. If I do not succeed, I will email it to someone for them to try.

When you unzip it, if you do not knoe how to install programs to yoru Palm Pilot, please read the readme file.

Also, please post what you think of the software here on this forum.

OK on HandEra 330

I played it on my HandEra 330, and it scales fairly well to the 240x240 resolution. (I will try it on my wife's M505 when I get home and see how it looks in color.) The bird's eye view is pretty hard to see. The game appears to be quite realistic. That is, I can get on the green fairly quickly, but then I putt for the rest of the afternoon:( . I can load the game files (PRCs) from my CF card, but the 'hole' databases apparently need to be in RAM. When I tried loading them from my card, I got a fatal reset.

One nice thing about the game is that it has the complete specifications for the MDX. I have the Edmunds page in my AvantGo, but this is in a better format. It is handy to have all of the features, dimensions, and capacities in your pocket.
