Maybe some of the owners here already know this but just want to share...

You can use the MID to display the phone menu (speed dial and call history) without using the center console touch screen display.

Anytime you want to make a call, just press on the call pick up button on the steering wheel. It would show the speed dial and call history menu in the MID. You can scroll using the left left side scroll roller (up down left right). Press the scroll roller or the call pick up button again if you have highlighted the contact you wanted to call.

The speed dial must be set in the car first to use them. The call history requires a compatible smartphone that sends over the data to the mdx. If you have too long of a call history or too many text messages, you may encounter a failure to load both call history and text message reading.
