I’ve got no one that sits back there, but easy enough to run a 10ft cable off the second USB A in the second row if someone is back there and needs it.

Random find though. I’ve seen MDX reviews claim that the 3rd row passengers get no vents in the 3rd row and therefore might be hot/cold. I did find a vent that runs under both 2nd row seats, so the 3rd row does get air flow back there lol.
yeah vent from the bottom, which is fine for me.. and i think cabin cool down pretty fast in my case.?

I’ll never understand Acuras logic in the A-spec. Let’s offer the best color only on the aspec, the best exterior styling sportiest interior design, and then let’s make half of the options you’d really want to go with it unavailable. The Aspec advanced would be ideal… but… yeah doesn’t exist. We ran into the same problem on the 2020. We were all about it, but then couldn’t get a combo of colors and features that made the wife happy.

With all that said, great work adding it! Just annoying that you have to.

Working on removing the center console. I was hoping it’d be as easy as just yanking up, but there are screws I’m having trouble locating. The dash came apart very easily though

More info on the dash and center console lights please, part #? Did you just connect to the existing door light? TIA!
I spliced into the footwell harnesses. Left footwell and lights on the left, right footwell for lights on the right.

here’s the part numbers for everything:

Registered just to commend you on this effort. Looks absolutely awesome. I am no handyman but will try it on my own A-Spec.
Well thank you sir. Definitely not for the faint of heart. It takes some time and patience, but 100% doable. @eLaRGie can share some tips and tricks he learned along the way if you get stuck. Cheers!

Thanks again for the part numbers. I am about to placing an order but I am going to do the dash and center console, skipping the door pocket light. Are those last two part numbers for the door pocket light?

34750-TFB-A51 is the door pocket

and order 2x 32755-TYA-A20 for the most connector donor (which is 4 donors each wiring)

if you do only console you'll need 5 connectors.
and you dont really need clips or screws you might have already some around

Thanks so much! another quick question, Chazzy J mentioned above that for the dash light, he spliced into the footwell harnesses, make sense to me. Where did you guys spliced the center console light into?

IMO Chazzy has an OCD (i am too) he tapped the left LED to left footwell and right LED to the right footwell (which is good) 😅. but i build one harness that connect all center console led to the right footwell and works aswell and easier.

Lmao. Guilty.

As I was pioneering this, I wasn’t sure what kind of power draw would be too much, so I tapped as @eLaRGie described above - left for left, right for right. I connected the dash and console harnesses together when I made the harness, so it’s just a single tap into each footwell for me and that powers both lights on their respective side.

@eLaRGie tapped a single footwell and all his lights power up just fine. No concern with power draw. The passenger side footwell is much more accessible than the drivers side - so that’s a good thing.

And again, as @eLaRGie mentioned, special note for the passenger side dash light - it has two connectors. So make sure you have 5 donor connectors for those 4 lights you’re installed. Good luck mate.

Thanks again! The wire doesn't look like long enough to connect to the footwell light, did you add another wire to make it long enough?
