As you can tell, I am counting the minutes until my delivery at 6:00pm tonight......I actually saw the truck yesterday at the dealership, and looked it over closely, since it will probably be dark tonight when we pick up the 'X and take it home. I had a remote start, nokia hands free kit, Passport 8500 installed at my friends shop yesterday and today. Also, when I looked at the truck yesterday, it had the running boards that I ordered, but it also had rear mud flaps, wheel locks, and a cargo tray installed.
I spoke with the finance manager, and he says that they include their "protection package" at no cost to the consumer on every MDX (he says they absorb the cost of the package but I'm sure it's built in somewhere along the way) Also, my friend new that I wanted a roof rack, but I wasn't paying $500 from the dealer for it. He can get accessories at cost from the dealer, so he bought the roof rack for $140, and had an Acura tech come to his shop after hours and install it for $40......pretty cool!!!
I'll post pics of the 'X as soon as possible.......thanks to everyone for all their help and advice on this site. I don't think I could have negotiated the lease I got without acuramdx.org!!

Sounds like you are doing your X up right.

Time will creep until you pick it up. I bought mine from a dealer 200 miles away over the phone and did not pick it up until late the next day. That time and mileage was torture!

Yes, I am a member of the acura-tl.com board with the same name.....I've had my TL for a little over a year.....I've been spending so much time here on the MDX board, I haven't been on the TL board much lately.....anyway....the delivery went great.
My wife was VERY surprised when she saw the 'X and it had all the goodies already installed.....we absolutely LOVE the truck!!
I know, I know.....I need to post pics.....unfortunately I don't have a digicam, so I will have to do it the old fashion way!
I want to show you guys how the hands free kit, radar, etc are installed....everything looks great! I have to thank my best friend Jason, from Osprey Cellular for staying late and working on my 'X to get it done! It was funny last night when we got home, I didn't know where my wife was, so I go into the garage to see if she is in there, and she's in the 'X, talking to 'him' while she puts her stuff in the car.....then she lays down in the backseat and says she wants to sleep in the car! I said of course you can, but it's probably going to be a little chilly!! She loves the car!!
So, I'm still waiting on my WeatherTech Advantage mats and for a warm day to Zaino the 'X!!

Melcome to the member's club. Thanks for posting your story -- it's good to see people so excited about the MDX. How many times in your adult life to you actually get to be excited about something like this.....

Absolutely....not many times in your life that you can get excited about something!! This definitely ranks up there, and I have to say that without this board, I would not have known half as much info as I do about the MDX! I wish I had known about the acura-tl board before I bought my TL....but oh well, I still have gotten tons of info and ideas from that board also!! I guess I can say that I am a true 'addict'

Congrats on the"X" swhtech. I've been on the Acura-TL board for a long time, & enjoyed the wealth of info over ther. Now I'm trying to get an MDX, & love the info over here. I'm glad for you guys, getting excited about the X is fun. Sounds like you tricked it out good, so you'll have 2 show some pics (of some kind )so we can all see it. I'm going down to the dealer tonight to work out the FINANCES. Wish me luck. I hope it's what I'm hoping for. Even if it is, we have to wait on the vehicle to come in. Prob. next Tues. or Wed. Oh well. It will be worth it I'm sure. Not getting all the goodies u got at first, but I'll buy from Tim along the way. Keep on posting
