I really wanted 22s but love the way the MDX rides. So i went with 265/45/20 same as aspec. 20x10 Stance SF10 wheels. The wheels are 24 lbs each and has increase excellerstion cornering and handling. Really happy but still feel fomo not getting the 22s.
Did i make the right choice?

I'm not too excited about my OEM 245/50/20 size tires also. Thinking about doing the same and upgrade my rim width to put either 265/45/20 or 275/45/20 Conti DWS 06 Plus tires. Just trying to wear down my OEM tires a little more (only 22,000 miles on my 19 MDX).

Thanks man. The 265/45/r20 Is a more pillowy ride compared to the 245/50/r20. I personally didnt want to mess with the ride or the sh-awd.
Consider a flow forged wheel. I have Stance SF 10 wheels their 24lbs and are 20x10. The factory tires are 20x8.5 i believe. The lighter wider tire improved the exceleration handling and overall fun factor

I'll keep that option on my list when I start to narrow down my final choices. I've always gone for aftermarket rims with my previous Acura's.

20s are a much better choice. I’d worry about rides and durability on 22s. So many people I know with ultra low profile tires have problems. Plus I think 20s look better on a big crossover aimed at families.

Nice wheels.Same size tire on my 19 advance .They do handle well.Even with the oem Michelins

Acura did a huge disservice to this generation of MDX and MDX fans....with these visually lacking wheels and tires. No one seems to be happy with them...
