There are a few threads on sounds so thought I would separate this one.
I had noticed a grinding/rattling sound at low gears when accelerating.
Brought it into Acura:
- Acura Tech heard sound and said it may be fuel pump but he will need Acura Engineer to come out.
-Acura Engineer determined it was the fuel line
- Acura will be replacing the fuel line in a week and will have engineer diagnosis the issue after
Currently going on 2 weeks and some days it has been at the dealership.
Detailed explanation:
In the meantime, I apologize for getting back late. They believe the noise is actually a vibration. The vibration is coming from the fuel line. They think the fuel line vibration translates to the body of the vehicle. Now, vibration in a fuel line is normal, however how this specific line with the way it's designed with the material it's made out of, it's possible sending vibration to the places that's securing it, then being sent to the body.
