I wanna know why the hell you changed the oil 2 times in 3 thousand miles... thats insane dude!

Full synthetic lasts 5 thousand miles minimum even under the harshest conditions.

I changed it after 2km cause after the break in period and the second time is 6 months after which is the recommended month

Short distance drive can cause small about of oil dilution on direct injection engines especially with a turbo

I plan on keeping my car for a long time and I won't it engine trouble free

You are literally talking out of your ass and no oil analysis ever done shows a benefit below 5k miles per change and that was on cars that are regularly subjected to track days.

Stop wasting your money this is modern synthetic oil not Dino juice.

The first oil change you did was a complete waste of time and the second one should've been at least 5k miles, probably 7k miles if you were analyzing your oil at blackstone.

I see this bull **** all around the internet. The only thing that causes early oil change intervals is stress and load, or excessive idling.

I'm just letting everyone else know that you are out of your mind with those oild change intervals.

If you were actually interested in protecting your engine you would do oil analysis and find out what your oil interval should be from evidence, and you might even find out you need to change oil types as well.

Ohkay.. let me ask

What type of service do you do to ur type s??
How often do you change ur oil?
I've done blackstone oil analysis on my last 2 cars, and both landed at 7,000 miles being the earliest necessary change. Both were tuned turbo engines (GTI 2.0t and Audi S5 single turbo v6 very similar to the mdx-s engine)

I haven't changed the oil on my Type S yet, it is at 6300mi - It will get changed next week at the dealer when the car is there for a new sunroof. I suppose if I had to put a rule on it I would say after 5000 miles, but before 8000.

Most manufacturers say you can safely go 10k miles per oil change, even on higher performance cars. They aren't lying, but you will start to see miniscule amounts of additional contaminants in the oil by then.
