That is odd. Any shoes put up on it, or heavy scrubbing with abrasive towel or something like that?

Yikes, if you didn’t wipe it with any cleaner or drag anything against it, I’d say the thread is probably suspect to QC. Especially if the top one can be rubbed and no broken fibers.

That definitely looks like it was caused by something. Not sure you’ll win a warranty claim for that. The panel itself costs about $180 and pretty easy to change out. So don’t fret too much.
