Just traded the 2011 with 57k. No issues in 7.5years except oil burn.

I just picked up the 2018. When I got home I noticed the drivers rear door didn’t quite line up with rear fender at the wheel opening. Starting looking around and noticed poor panel tolerances. I don’t recall seeing any of that on the old MDX. I searched but could find a thread. Is this the form for 3rd Gen?

This is my 6th Acura in a row. All prior cars including 2016 TLX have good fit and finish.

Yes, this is pretty common. Many people have complained and some dealers have sent them to the body shops to fix while others say this is normal.

That's a new one, to me.

I know the fuel door doesn't align all that well on many 3rd gen MDX, but I haven't seen issues with the other panel gaps.
