Just purchased a 2017 pearl white standard package mdx. After taking it to a wash, I noticed that the side bottom rear on both the left and right side have a strip of same colored sticker (pearl white) blending in to the color of the car. It's about a foot long and starts from the front of the rear wheels. I think this will end up peeling if its meant to be part of the exterior? Anyone notice this on theirs? Can i perl this off without damaging whats behind it? Thanks!

Isn´t that part of the film package? meant to protect from chips and rocks? I could be wrong though.

It's not colored. It's clear. It is a film like skirmich mentioned used to protect that part of the body from continued beating due to the way the airflow hits the biddy and the way the tires kick up splash.

It is extra protection for debris that could kick up from the road. When I picked up my 2014 MDX, I noticed it as well and confirmed it is an added layer to a prone area.

It is normal.
