Hi,
My 2014 mdx tech has 26k miles so far and under warranty till Jan 2018. I see some rust on rotor and brake cover...but no sound while braking or turning...though tires squeal when taking fast turns...tire thread was 7 front and 6 rear and mine is FWD

Do u suggest getting serviced from a Acura dealer to clean and change if needed at dealer high costs??

Do u suggest going to pep boys and get it cleaned with reasonable price?

Or do it myself investing in buying cleaners and jack stands etc??

Quite normal to get surface rust on rotors. It is usually worse in Summer with elevated humidity. If the rust is on the face of the rotors where the pads contact the rotor, just do a few hard braking stops from 50 or 60 MPH. That should clean the rust off, as well as help to keep the pads moving freely in the calipers.
