The replacement battery in my 2014 Acura MDX died after 16 months. It was a Sears Diehard battery. I couldn't get the car jump started so I took the battery out and brought it to Sears to have it checked.. they confirmed it was dead. I asked about the DIEHARD AGM battery and so I upgraded to the AGM. When I got home with the battery, I couldn't get the negative battery post to tighten... upon further inspection, I can not get the negative terminal all the way down on the battery. The other battery the cars negative sat all the way down.. but not on this battery.. its elevated.. I will have to bring the car to sears to have them look at it.. I guess a shim should help??? Is it ok to use those?
