Looking at changing some of the interior lights bulbs (foot well and rear hatch) but not sure if the second gen requires Canbus bulbs. I would expect that the interior bulbs may not need that function but maybe the exterior bulbs (that are monitored on some cars) may need them.

I converted mine to FULL LEDs… Didn´t have a single issue, They are all Philips LEDs except for the 2 courtesy ones in the tailgate.

Link pleased for leds ? I’m in Canada trying to do the same thing. I would like to keep the foot lights blue (oem colour) and the top lights as well to a brighter led. Is there any specifics I need to know when doing this.

194s (Map lights in the Roof, License Plate and Front parking lights) > https://www.amazon.com/Philips-127916000KB2-Bright-Interior-Vision/dp/B017VORB7M/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Philips+LED+194&qid=1569459519&s=gateway&sr=8-1

I dont recall the exact part number for the Fuse Style LED in the Trunk dome light and front feet courtesy light but it was similar to this > https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00P2D3W1Y/ref=twister_B019LR3I10?_encoding=UTF8&th=1

The Courtesy Lights in the Doors and Tailgate are 194s as well BUT instead of using the classic bulb style I went with Chinese off brand flat style identical to these > so the light could be pointed instead of radiated... This made the much more useful than bulb style. But I haven't fount them again from the seller in ebay.

Not pictured are also the Philips Amber rear Turn Signals 7443 (Double Light) > https://www.amazon.com/Philips-12840REDB2-Intense-Vision-light/dp/B00P2D3W0A?th=1

IIRC the MDX uses 7440 (Single Light) but my nearest autozone didn't carry it? so I bought the 7443 which uses the high intensity Light for the Turn Signal in 7440 Applications... The MDX DOES REQUIRE A LOAD RESISTOR to use them or the will hiper flash.

I bought DE3175 LED bulbs from superbrightleds.com (shipping to Canada may kill that for you) for the footwell lights. I'm sure there are other options in the great white north :)
