Was replacing the PCV valve on 2011 MDX and after finally getting the bolt out the valve came out but broke in 2 and the bottom part of the valve is still in with no obvious way to remove it. Any ideas? The area is small so hard to get any leverage to work it out. IMG_2051.JPG

First try to loosen the crud by spaying some solvent in the hole. Then take a piece of wire, like a coat hanger, and make a small hook to insert into the cavity and pull the remaining part out.

I believe all PCV valves are "slip in", but check your new one, to make sure.
Dig it out and keep track of the pieces, if you have to break the sides, of the old plastic valve.
