Hey everybody,
I’m new and need a little bit of help.
Just bought a 2010 MDX and the backup camera isn’t working.

When I put the vehicle into reverse, the NAV screen turns black, I see the guidance lines, but there is no visual image of anything behind me. There is no static. Just a black screen.

the 10A fuse under the hood is not blown. The brightness control for the camera doesn’t change anything...

I have search the forums and haven’t been able to find an answer for this.

any ideas?

I'm pretty sure this is the first time I'm hearing about this. I guess you can start with metering the voltage at the camera contacts while someone puts the car in reverse.

The diagnostics in the secret menu say that the camera is ok.
I can’t begin to test voltage without a pin diagram :(

the backup camera plugs into the DVD drive under drivers seat 2007-2009 models so check and make sure the wire didn't come unplugged.
