So except for the drivers side window switch all other switches plus individual window switches on each door stopped working. In the summer they wouldn't open, and now in the winter I by accident opened them using the unlock switch (holding it down) on the remote and can't get them up.

I assume it's not the motor or mechanism or fuse as then the unintentional use of the remote wouldn't have happened - what do you suggest is the likely problem?

Wiring exiting door to car ? -
The actual driver side master switch co trol?
Something else?

Please advise. Thanks.

The driver side wiring harness is likely deteriorated/going bad. Had my power windows lose function on my old 2006 MDX multiple times…was very perplexing, but eventually uncovered that was the culprit. The wire connections begin to fail after years of give and take from opening and closing the driver’s door.

Helping forward.
HARNESS black wire on driver side is detached.
Take thin wire and go from outside in and hook into empty connector that is nearby, connect to black wire.
This solution is permanent.
