Hello,

I am new to this form. I have a 2008 MDX Elite Package. Yesterday I discovered my driver side headlight and fog lamp burnt out. Several years ago I replaced some bulb and replaced the fog light to the cool white color. I checked on Amazon and are not sure which bulb goes to which.

Does the H11 bulb for the headlight (low beam) and 9005 bulb for the fog lamp? Somebody please enlighten me. Much appreciated!

You say Headlight but there are 2 main bulbs on the headlight.
High Beam and Low Beam.

Proper Fitment:
Low Beam uses HID (Xenon) bulb which requires a D2S Socket.
High Beam uses 9005 (Halogen) bulb.
Fog Lights uses H11 (Halogen) bulb.
DRL uses 9005 (Halogen) bulb.

Thanks! skirmich!

I called dealer and ask them how much for the bulb and was quoted around $450 for bulb and replacement. Yikes! That's an absurd price! Will order from online and watch some YouTube how to videos.

Cheers!
