My drivers side power door lock is not locking or unlocking my lock 100% of the time. I think it's the power door lock motor. Does anyone know the part number for that?

But also, I noticed too that my memory seat buttons don't light up 100% of the time either. so could it be a wiring problem into the door? When the lights are off, I can hit MEM and reprogram the #1 memory, so maybe it's just a failing chip somewhere. Thought maybe it was related.

Thoughts?

Is there any way to confirm its the wiring harness? My windows work fine when the door locks and seat memory lights are not

Ah, I checked the link. I guess I could pop off the door harness to see if the wires are frayed. I sure hope that's the fix - seems nice and easy!

In my best guess, the wires did not look frayed or broken. Is it still worth replacing the harness to see if that does fix it? Any other thoughts?

Did you wiggle the connector and see if it starts to work? when mine went bad I could make it work for a moment if I moved the Sub Harness a bit, It worker twice before going completely dead.

I didn't because the door lock not working is a bit random right now. Can't figure out a pattern - so my thought was the motor is dying, but maybe it's the wire. I did order a new wire harness just to rule it out - it was only $20.

I think it might be the problem because the DPMS (Memory Seats) and the lock motor are on different wires.. If the motor went bad it should not affect DPMS.

Oh I see. I had just figured the computer for the DPMS just died, but maybe it's just getting reset from a faulty wire.

I found that it started with one symptom and then snowballed into multiple systems. This could just be the beginning of oddities caused by that stinkin' harness.

Yeah, I hope you're onto something! So far the pattern is if the door is closed, the lock fails. If the door is open, the locks work fine. So maybe with the door closed a wire is being pinched that I can't see when the door is open.

Can't wait for the harness to get here to try it out!

Replaced the harness tonight and the plus side is the DPMS seems to be working again, but the door lock is still showing signs of inconsistent lock and/or inconsistent unlock.

The door motor has like a dying squeal to it when it locks/unlocks. The other 3 doors have that standard "snap" noise when you lock/unlock.

Do you think that needs to be replaced? Do you know the part number for a new drivers side door lock motor? (and maybe a write up on how to do it?)

Thanks again for the help

Replaced the lock or the harness? My resolution was to replace the lock with

72150-STX-A13
LATCH ASSY., L. FR. DOOR POWER

I ended up buying the part online and having the dealer replace it for me at their labor rate since I couldn't figure out how to get my hand back there to release the old lock from the latching mechanism. Took them 1 billed hour to fix it.

If you replaced that and you still have problems, maybe you need to replace the wiring harness.

Yes might be the case, but everything is working fine (even electric door lock/unlock using exterior key + widows raise/lower).

Only the motor latch that seems unresponsive.

will test wiring in the next days.

Then I followed procdure to test the wires near the Control Unit (just up to the fuse box inside the car near the parking brake:

Tested K2 and K12:

Had a open wire in the harness between the door and cabin. See the grey wire in picture:

While fixing this, i found another one loose:
