Hello all. I currently own a 2009 MDX with the rims attached below (Tech package wheels) and was wondering if the 2007-2009 RDX rims would fit on my MDX? Thank you!

I don't know if the rims will fit or not; but, I think the bolt pattern might be the issue and the offset would be next? I have a set of 4 RDX rims I took off my 08 RDX tech when I upgraded to aftermarket RonJon rims. Hit me up if you want them.

I would check out tire/rim websites like Tire Rack or Discount Tires. You can compare a direct replacement rims for the 07-12 RDX and 07-13 MDX to see how the OEM rim sizes compare (bolt pattern, offset, rim width, tpms, bore size, etc...).

I did RonJon Legacy 7 Liquid Graphite rims:

• 18"X8"
• bolt pattern 5X114.3
• Center bore 64.1
• Offset: 40-45mm range (not 100% sure on this number)
• lug size M12X1.5

I upgraded my OEM 19" rims on my 11 MDX Adv to RonJon Legacy Type II:

• 20"X8.5"
• bolt pattern 5X120
• Center bore 64.1
• offset: +40mm
• lug size M14X1.5

Thank you! I am thinking about swapping my brother's RDX rims with my MDX rims. I'd have to see if the fitment would work both ways. I'm an idiot and can't seem to figure out what is and isn't compatible by looking on the websites you mentioned. I looked at others as well but am not familiar. Would anyone be able to help? Thank you!

No money would be wasted. It's just a rim swap. I really like the 5-spoke RDX rims but if it's not compatible, then that's fine.

Offset is good, but Bolt pattern is NOT compatible...thats a NO go ghost rider!

In case others stumble on this thread; here's the bolt pattern breakdown for MDX'es:

2001 - 2006: 5 x 114.3mm
2007 - 2013: 5 x 120mm
2014 - 2016: 5 x 114.3mm
2017 - 2020: 5 x 120mm
2022 :: 5 x 120mm

My 2007 stock 18in wheels fit on my 2015. The stock 2007 rims have my winter tires on.

I gave away an OEM 19" 2011 MDX Adv rim to another member living in FL back in 2020 to use as full size spare. It came out to $145 to box and ship to his location from NM. I imagine shipping prices have gone up since then.

I had 4 OEM 11 MDX Adv rims; but, gave two away to other forum member back in 2020. I've kept one for a full size spare on my 11 MDX and have one left.
