Calling all corporate spies...

I've seen several threads suggesting what Acura might have in store for the MDX in '03. Does anyone have any relatively firm ideas/facts regarding what changes might be coming? Also, when is the expected production/release date for 03?

For what it is worth ...

... the speculating about the '02 began soon after deliveries of '01 began. It seems like we have deja vu all over again; speculating on the '03 so soon after the '02 begins.

It turns out most of the wild speculation of the '02 was just that - speculation! I expect that for the '03 it will be no different.

i think they will increase the displacement and horsepower. Dunno about the the standards and options.

Will not even guess on the engine change...but as motortrend says....3.8L Sounds fair game to me.

The mdx for 03 will receive the dvd system, as the Pilot has.
The mdx for 03 will receive some type of rear back up assist...camera type, as the Pilot has
The mdx for 03 will adjust the cupholder capabilities in the front console...bigger for water bottles etc.
The mdx for 03 will change the woodgrain pattern...no details currently.
And of course there will be some cosmetic changes...more chrome on rear license garn...etc.
I'll have to check on any info on color changes....

P.S. these designs are coming straight from japan, instead of ohio as previously....cuz there will be R/H version.

...........are some of THE MOST ACCURATE I've seen!!. You were spot on on the speculation for the 2002 model: Reduction in windnoise (especially the changes to the mirrors) etc.
