I have a White MDX touring coming in at a local dealership. I've been on the list since August. Car is due to be built December 13th, with delivery 2 weeks after that.

All I want is my $500 deposit back, which you would then receive my order with $500 already aPPLIED TO THE CAR PRICE- WHICH IS FACTORY MSRP.

email me if interested:

just cancel the order

Why can't you just cancel the order and get your $$$ back? Did the dealer say that it was nonrefundable? If so, call the better business bureau -- if you used your credit card for the deposit, call them...

some dealers have no refund on deposit policy. From what I understand, you can't report this to BBB (well, you can but they can't do anything about it). It's because each dealer can set their own policies on how they do their business. Some dealers, for example, charge ridiculous amount of money above MSRP on some cars that are in high demand (BMW M3, Ford Thunderbird, etc. - just go to ebay and search for M3's, some ******* dealers are charging $15k just for allocations).

I think I know this particular Acura dealer Marc is talking about (since I bought my MDX there:D ). You just have to make sure that you want the car before you sign up, but all in all, this dealer has excellent service in both service and sales department. Marc, you should talk to the dealer and see if there are any other people lined up after you who want a white Acura. Hope you find someone to take over your deposit. Why are you backing out on this deal, if you don't mind me asking (you don't have to answer if you do mind).
