Excellent summary. Thank you for doing this.
2002 MDX
The most visible changes are the three new color choices-- Taffeta White with Saddle interior, Redrock Pearl with Saddle interior, and Havasu Blue (metallic) with Ebony interior.
The steering system has been fine-tuned to increase road feel for even more car-like responsiveness.
The outboard seats in the second row have been equipped with the new and innovative LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) system for attaching child safety seats to ready-to-use tethers at the top and bottom of the seats.
The rear window now features an intermittent window wiper/washer system. The front wiper/washer system benefits from a higher-pressure pump for improved winshield cleaning.
Added protection against parking-lot door dings is available through optional body side-molding trim.
A variety of enhacements have been made to produce a quieter, more comfortable ride. These include thicker windshield glass, and acoustic roof lining material from front to rear. A layer of Thinsulate (TM) insulation has also been added to key areas of the interior, including inside the door panels.
Diffuser-style exterior door mirrors have been added to smoothly channel airflow past the side windows to reduce wind noise.
The front cross bar of the roof rack has been repositioned more to the rear to further reduce wind noise and improve aerodynamics.
Sorry for my ignorance, but where do you get this magazine? Is it something only for dealers? Or is it sent to all Acura owners? Just curious.acbrown said:I received the Winter 2002 edition of "Acura Style" yesterday, :

btw GO TARHEELS!!
bef said:When I initially test drove the 2001 I didn't like the steering response and thought it was due to over inflated tires.
When I got the 2002, I noticed that the steering was more responsive and predictable. I'm glad I waited/procrastinated.
