Hello from warm Canada,
My MDX is now at 10,000 km and its 2023 WP Platinum Elite in Canada.
For issues ...
well nothing other then fuel economy, I keep riding in sport mode just love the feeling.
Came from 3 pilots and this thing is very impressive most definitely worth every dollar.
Additions just trims and smoked logos on the back plus Trailer Hitch, no noise issues, Tint and ceramic coating so far no quality issues as of today.
MDX is very responsive SHAWD is amazing, love it being lower to the ground.
plenty of room for me and a better half, just love driving it and I guess washing a bit too much, but that's what what need to do with white car I guess :)

are those stock rims? look pretty dope man. and agree 100% acura/honda missed the mark by not offering a more efficient option. would've gladly paid more for a Type S of some short with a hybrid engine. here in the US, mileage drops to **** if driving a lot locally, averaging 15mpg. the only way i can get close to the rated EPA 25mpg is a lot of flat highways without traffic. just returned from a 300 mile road trip and managed to average 23.5mpg, which is prob the best i'll see with this car. everything else is great tho.

I so agree, would love to have an air suspension and if would not be for turbo engine I would be in a higher model HUD is amazing yes it is off if you bring it too high or too low, Camera wash is also amazing use it so much backing up its dirty squirt of windshield washer and its clean little things like that make me love this car. Seats are amazing, those seats just fit perfect, adjustments for driver and passenger are just so nice they are huge but keep you centre in it when turning almost no body roll comparing to pilot and 3.5 is super dependable engine would not change it for anything , but would be nice to see hybrid option with RDX engine and battery power hybrid, but turbo is the future I guess.
Those rims are winter package from the dealer 20x8.5 it cost me $2,000 CDN plus TAX, got last set from them. I will use them for summer as I kept Pilot winter tires and rims so im good to change to steel rims for winter :) here is the link what dealer got me 20'' Alloy Wheels for 2023 ACURA MDX (Incl A-SPEC / Platinum Elite) | RWC Wheels
Would love to get my hands on Type S rims but do not want to spend $5000.00 on set of rims and and additional 3000 on tires but those 20 look good , they are even quite then stock tires LOL
Love IDM use it allot, hated auto stop so those 2 modes are perfect. Miss the touch screen from pilot but don't miss the finger prints, this touch pad is perfect but hard to use for passenger lol, they most definitely should not have control of radio so good thinking Acura lol
MDX has les vents then pilot so when is -25 outside it takes forever to warm this car up, pilot had much better heating then Acura so I guess that's the only think I do not like about it and after washing car there is a bit of fog on the inside of windows till the heater kicks in and then no sign of it after
Love the white pearl it looks amazing

Nice looking MDX!! 👍👍

Was considering running boards.. and I see that you have them. Do they look 'detached' or is it just the photos? On most SUVs, running boards make the car look sportier (i.e. MB's AMG trim on the GLE's), but the running boards on MDX's doesn't look like it 'flows' very well?? I hope I'm wrong. They DO act like mud guards though which I like, can see all the mud in front underside of your running boards... instead of on the side of the car!!

A very Nice Looking MDX !! I'm just hitting 9100 miles on my 22 MDX Advance (leased in 8/2021). I just took a long trip visiting Grandkids in New Jersey- roundtrip in a day - 240 miles. My MDX makes this trip totally Tolerable / Enjoyable. Not a thing wrong with my car (except an occasional Quirk of not moving the seat and steering wheel upon entry?. The Advance has Auto Exit and Entry setting). I was cruising at times at 80MPH (regularly at 75), and she felt steady as a rock in Normal Mode; very comfortable.seating with thigh extensions; great sound system; all make it a Nice SUV to have & drive. I will note that here in the NY Area there has been a switch to the "Winter Blend" of Gas (all grades). That produces a 10-12 % Reduction in MPGs ! My only real problem is that at my age now 71, I'm finding it a bit bothersome driving at Night. Getting Old SUX.

I agree. The running boards are mounted below the rocker, which which lowers the clearance and is not as clean/integrated looking, and makes the car look a bit 'heavier' if that make sense. The 3rd gen running boards were mounted in place of the lower rocker which gave it a much cleaner and more integrated look. Personally I'd skip the running boards since the car is pretty close to the ground to begin with and they don't look particularly good.

While I don't think they look bad on the OP's MDX, I agree mounting them lower given the already lower stance of the gen 4 serves little purpose from a practical standpoint. Maybe some vertically challenged individuals find the boards helpful but, for most, they are an aesthetic only. If you're driving an F-150, its a different issue all together.

Well, that's what the 25 mpg rating is - the highway rating, what you can expect on a long highway drive with few stops. It's also rated at 19 mpg city, so your local driving of 15 mpg isn't all that far off of the city rating.

While the running boards do take away from the ground clearance a bit, after driving in snow and slush the bottoms of the doors seem to pick up a lot of it…I think the running boards may protect the doors and keep the crap off the sides? Great looking vehicle OP!!

I don't know why people complain about steering or brakes, they are both b perfectly OK, I keep my on individual mode is a bit more tighter brakes are soft at start but they respond perfectly normal from 20% to 100% pressure , they are not on tight side but respond perfect to heavier vehicle , my individual mode is set to
Engine set to normal and everything else in sport

I guess the mud flaps (or what looks to be mud flaps) don't really do the job.
