Hello Soul, yes you can do a 2010-2013 Acura MDX front grill bumper conversation into 2007-2009. No special part needed everything fits like a glove.
Just make sure you have all the parts from the newer bumper. That's what I did on mine.

I believe it's called blue thunder and I got the color from the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro.

VERY UNIQUE AND DISTINCT! I ALSO LOVE TO BE DIFFRENT AND WILL ALSO LOOK INTO SEEING IF IT'S MORE COST EFFECTIVE TO WRAP OR PAINT THE MDX A TIGER EYE COLOR. HOPEFULLY YOU WERE NOT CHARGED AN ARM AND LEG FOR THE PAINT JOB!? 😅
