2011 MDX . I had whining noise a few months ago but only when I turned the steering wheel so the automatic steering pump was replaced. Now I have a whining noise that does not start until after the car is warmed up and also usually not until after being at highway speeds and they it goes up and down with acceleration/deceleration. Any ideas?
Just starting to experience this with the wife's 13. Tranny fluid was low, added to level seemed to dissipate, maybe I didn't warm it up enough on my test drive. Came back in her daily commute, level is good. Seems like transmission, or could be engine revs. Changed tranny fluid with aftermarket Castrol Honda compatible synthetic fluid around 60,000, now at 80,000.
