20 MPG for B? You must have reset the A and B, filled in and got to a highway, because 20-22 MPG is straightly the highway mileage for the second gen (which is still pretty impressive for a 2 tonn truck with a 3.7L engine and AWD).

Not exactly^ as always EPA numbers are based on a pretty sketchy standard which does not reflect real world use.
If I did that I can get straight +25mpgs.. Maximum of 30mpg highway if babying the throttle at 60mph.

My B Trip is used for Oil Mileage Control.. So I set trip A to Reset with every fill up.

But I digress. My numbers are based in Mxico which has super slow average speeds.

Yes I did reset B after a fill up. It was all city miles. Yes there are expressways that I use. The speed limits are 65, 70 and 75mph depending on which expressway and the 75 is for the toll express. However, I have been up to a 110mph on this average but usually I'm in rush hour traffic. I did not baby the gas pedal either. I do have, brand new tires. cleaned injectors and throttle body. Cleaned the EGR port, replaced the EGR pipe and the EGR valve. Of course I did the spark plugs and coils at 105kmiles. I would imagine the mileage would be better on a 6speed transmission or higher.

Not on the 6 speed as the ratios on the 5th and 6th are the same as our 4th and 5th so highway mileage remains the same.
The extra gear in the 6 Speed is a super LOW 1st gear added for easier towing and it rarely gets used in the city with no tow (MDX starts in 2nd) so it gets almost the same in city mpg too.

It wasnt until the ZF9 that the MPGs got a huge bump.

'14 & '15 with 6 speed and DI engine is good for an actual 29 MPG highway.
