I am trying to add an aftermarket amp and new speakers speakers to my X. I need to access the factory amp output to speakers to connect the output of my aftermarket amp.

After pulling down the glovebox, I was able to see the amp, but could not access the amp connectors. How do I remove the black cover under the blower and side kicker on the passenger side in order to unplug the connector and splice the cables.

I was trying to find instructions, manual or video but could not find anything

I was able to find this link for a 2015 MDX. I don't know if it would be the same process for my 2008 MDX. I would give it a try tomorrow. Can somebody confirm if this would work for a 2nd Gen MDX

Attached are pictures of the guide on the link.

I know this is an old thread but I had to thank you nonetheless. You took out time to post information to help others regardless of not getting any response.

techinfo.honda.com

I bought a 1 days subscription for $20 and downloaded as many HOW-TO's as I could.

You can also get the MDX Service/Repair Manual from ebay.
