Gas tank thud / sloshing
The Gas tank makes a thud sound when coming to a stop when the tank is full and a sloshing sound when it is partially full. Acura claims that this is a "feature" as the Odyssey also has this characteristic. |

SRS (Front Air Bag Light) Comes On / StaysON
The SRS (Front Air Bag) red caution light comes on and/or stays on. This light indicates that the Air Bag System is Inoperable and the occupants of the car may not be protected in case of a collision.
[NOT to be confused with the Side Airbag Light (Yellow) which comes on whenever a child (or small weight) or an adult sitting sideways causes the Side Air Bag to be disabled for safety reason] |

Kazoo/Tea Kettle/Organ type whistle from A pillar
There is a very loud whistle from the area of the
top of the driver's A pillar that sounds like a Kazoo
or tea kettle. It occurs between about 70 and 90 mph, depending on wind
conditions. One can feel the vibration from the sound if they place their
finger on the windsheild where it meets the A pillar at the top.
It is an extremely loud and annoying noise. My dealer replaced the windshield
moulding but this did not fix the problem. I suspect that the problem is air traveling up the hollow A-Pillar and resonating it like an organ pipe. The problem has becoming more severe as the vehicle ages and/or
the weather warms... |
