I was a little surprised as well. I asked and told them I had other dealers who were willing to match or beat it and they accepted. Picked up two days ago. Will post pix over the weekend.
I am new to this forum. I am shopping for 2017 MDX AWD Tech. Best offer received so far is $4700 below MSRP (MSRP = $50,300), OTD = $45,600 + Taxes + Title (No dest. fee, nothing else). Initially, my friend joined with me for shopping, and that price offered by dealer was for 2 Vehicles. Now, my friend changed his mind and not willing to buy. And dealer is not ready to give committed price for one vehicle. If anyone interested, not picky on colors, you're welcome to join. If we're more than 2, then we may get even better deal. Counting on it... I am planning to buy on 08/13, if that doesn't work then 08/20. Thanks!
Curious why your bud ran off and got cold feet? $5K under MSRP is a hell of a deal for a 1 month old model year. I signed on the dotted line 2 weeks from when they launched for $48,281 (before taxes, etc). Invoice is $48,081. Good luck.
Would probably help if you mentioned where you are and what dealership. Also remember that deals seem to be easier to get at the end of the month due to quotas.
Dont forget that dealers have a large markup on accessories and can throw in some for free such as all season mats, fog lamps, etc. Best of luck with your new purchase!
I am looking at buying a 2017 MDX AWD TECH as ASAP once I get the right price (no rush but will buy once I get the right/best price). I live in VA and open to buying from MD as well. The best price I was quoted was $47,000 plus tax, license and VA $599 processing fee. I saw your quote for $46,500 + processing fee, tax, title.
- Which dealer did you get that quote from?
I am happy to coordinate with you to buy together so that it gives the dealership a better incentive. Feel free to contact me at jortannguyen@yahoo.com.
Please let me know if anyone finds a better deal. I'll update what I get today from more shopping.
I'm shopping for a 2017 AWD-Tech in the Southern California area and quotes are coming in between $47,500 and $49,000.
It's hard to justify right now when I can get a '16 AWD-Tech for around $44.
I purchased one in Virgina this past Sunday and was able to get the Costco price. I bought a 2017 Acura MDX SH-AWD with Tech, modern steel metallic exterior/ebony interior for $45,866 plus freight, taxes, doc fees and tags.... Total out the door cost was $50,307. I spent all afternoon today getting acquainted with all the features and gadgets. We luv it!!!
That's a great price. That price would get me to pull the trigger ASAP. Alas, here in Southern California, inventory on the 2017 AWD-Tech White/Ebony is still scarce and dealers don't neet to cut their prices (yet)
Today I am signing the papers with Chicago dealer for 2017 AWD tech modern steel/ebony for 46,939 + tax + title. Dest. is included in the vehicle price. I have a trade-in that Carmax giving 16,000, and this dealer offered 16,600 and tax credit for this amount on new MDX. So, OTD came out $33,000. Hope I got a good deal.
Hello, Formally new to form but have been lurking for over half a year now. Former MDX gen II owner trying to get back to the fold, Hoping to glean further information and hopefully over time share some on the forum if we do purchase one. @ksk: I am over an hour out from Chicago area and actually tested a modern steel/ebony last Saturday while servicing my QX56 in Westmont. Do you mind sharing who the dealer was? I am currently trying to persuade the Mum of the house to go back to an MDX and not an Infiniti QX60 or Volvo XC90. Thanks for your feedback.
