The TL starts at 36K. I suspect the RL will be upper 40's or higher. A 2012 RL base was $48K (albeit with SH-AWD). I think Acura is thinking it will compete with the LS, 7 series, etc.

Was at the car show in Toronto yesterday where they had the 2014 prototype on display. My inpression of it was a bunch of pieces from other vehicles thrown together.

The back reminds me of a x5, from the c pillar back lexus rx, overall side view has q7 thrown in and the front has the roundness of the infiniti jx.

On first view I am a bit disappointed, although certain aspect of the vehicle look good, I am not in love with the total package.

Having said that, I will still probably get one (love my current 09).

RL will be mid $50k to low $60k with full packages.

Just drove one. Nice.

Some highlights from the USA Today article:
Pricing will be announced closer to on-sale date.

The mpg ratings are 20 mpg in the city, 28 on the highway and 23 in city/highway mix for the front-drive model. All-wheel drive is 18/27/21.

To help reach the third row of seats, a power-assist feature folds and slides the second row seats to their most-forward position with the push of a button. And the walk-in aisle is wider for easier access.

Console is big enough for two iPads, showing how up-to-date Acura is. No word on how many Kindles that equals.

Wheelbase is stretched 2.8 inches to 111 in., opening more interior space. Overall dimensions are 193.6 in. long, 77.2 in. wide, 67.6 in. tall

Power is from a 3.5-liter V-6 that Acura says is new, rated 290 horsepower and 267 pounds-feet of torque.
