Greetings from NYC
Good day to all. My dad just picked up a 2003 Acura MDX (Nighthawk Black Pearl) this past week. He really had his mind set on an MDX after we donated our beloved Mazda 929 after 22 years. After a failed attempt at another MDX (no lien release given), we settled on this beut. Has 85k original miles, which was the main reason why I told him to pounce on it. Now, enough of the introduction and on to some quick pics.

That is one clean looking vehicle. Congrats to your dad!
I have a question for anybody who reads this. I notice that everybody who posts a picture blurs the license plate. Since this is the same plate that anyone who sees the car can see, and at that point even see the vin, what is the purpose? I figure there has to be a good reason since the practice is almost universal. |

Thank you for kind words. I guess its basic practice like you suggested, however you do bring up valid points. License plate tracings can go a long ways. Possibly identifying owners name, location and other fields that they may not want revealed. I guess its "mental assurance"

Perhaps you've pissed off someone on this board and they have your plate information, they can go a long ways to making someones life completely miserable with DMV records. |
