Any idea what your original date of sale is? This is going to be a key factor in the timing of your plan purchase.

It looks like it was purchased 2/25/08. Does that mean my original manufacturers warranty is up in February?

That would be Feb of 2012.

Original warranty was 4 years / 50k miles.

Unfortunately the aftermarket contracts that we sell require the vehicle to be inspected at our facility prior to contract sale.

Acura seriously changed all of the plans around effective Feb 2011 to a setup that I've never seen before. I've sold over 1,000 policies online, and I'm still scratching my head as to how these new plans are set up.....

Acura of Canada offers it's own Extended warranty: Acura Plus. Acura does not honor warranties across the border.

Seems almost simplified in some ways. On the Pre-Owned plans, instead of, for example, having plans of 3 years 36k, where the 36k is tacked on to your odometer at the time of plan purchase, it's going by total vehicle miles. The tiers are just not what I'm used to looking at.

But, they also added mileage surcharges to the plans, meaning that if for example you have 42K on your vehicle and want to purchase a plan, there might be an added $200 mileage surcharge on top of the plan price. It makes simple off the cuff quotes impossible without specific info.
