On my 2010 MDX, the outside rear view mirrors (both) turn inwards, and require me to adjust them to face outwards every 20-30 miles of driving. This also happens after I park and come back to the car. Dealer can not replicate the problem. Ideas? Thanks.
I left it at the dealer for a day. I will park and come back in a few minutes and it has turned in, enough so that I have to adjust it. And also when I take a long drive, say from the Bay Area to Tahoe, which is about 200 miles, I will have to adjust a number of times along the way.
Two days ago I started having a similar problem on my 2004.
The mirrors are turning inward when the car is not turned on.
After many times trying to duplicate the problem I found that the mirrors turned inward when I OPENED THE DOOR after the MDX had been parked for a few minutes. Both mirrors are turning, but the right more than the left. Position of the mirror selector does not matter.
I have to believe that it has something to do with the memory position module.
It may be you! Take notice of your body positioning in the morning and then again in the afternoon. In the afternoon your body is tired and you will slouch or lean to one side, while in the morning you will sit up straight.
