I've ordered some parts etc. to make a few more but I am now short on time again so it's gonna be a while for me to make some.
I think I'll stop this thread for now and just open a new one when I have some done.

THERE IS A NEWER INSTALL GUIDE PLEASE DOWNLOAD!!!!!!!

Hi guys after two months of work the kits are done and ready for shipping. I have the list from the previous thread shown below but I am not holding anyone to the list due to the inevitable price change.

1. Kingmdx - (Harness)......Done
2. Drift King - (Harness).....Done
3. Mesalum - (Harness)......Done
4. Sterling08 - (Harness)....Done
5. Elite-fusion - (Harness)..Done
6. Sold
7. Sold

When I first started I wasn't providing anything but the harness ends and a little wire ..originally I was hoping to do this for around $15-$25.

Then it turned into what is below in the pictures so as to help people out with not having to deal with the stress and design... but with harness ends, relays, diodes, wire, enclosures, connectors etc. etc. etc. I will now have to obviously have a new/higher price.

The new price will be $50 and you pay whatever extra for shipping/payment fees etc. If you think this is a crazy price please note this is actually only the cost of the parts only. The parts used are mostly DEI parts (i.e. same parts they use in viper alarm stuff) since I wanted good quality stuff that will last.

If ever in the future more units can be made they will cost a bit more for sure since next time I will be charging for the hours of my time, electricity, solder, shipping costs of parts to me etc.

Ok…so I will need the guys on the list (Since they have fist chance) to verify they are still getting them (Just post on here to let me know) and to send me an e-mail at kingmdx@gmail.com so I can send them paypal account email address info etc. so payments can be made. ALSO please include your mdxers.org name in the email so I can identify who you are.

I want to ship all these priority 3 day mail with confirmation/tracking etc. and with paypal fees etc. the final price will be $58 shipped to anywhere in the US. I don’t know if anyone on that list is from Canada …I hope not…I will rather send to US only ..less hassle with customs. If I do have to ship to Canada I am sure it will cost more…but we will deal with that hurdle if it comes up.

So final price shipped and to be transferred via paypal is: $58 …email me as I said and I’ll send you my paypal email info etc.

Oh guys ...please read the ENTIRE install guide...I put a ton of pics in there and it should be super simple for you all to figure it out. I've had this now for over a week in my X.

REMEMBER: the kit does not come with the toggle switch ...you just buy one that that simply connects the input vehicle ground wire to the output (which goes to the camera unit) when you flip the switch. Thus SPST switches will work. If you want ideas where to install it i can give you some that will make the switch install and wire location easy on you.

A little more info on the use of the unit:

Note this unit will work once the key is in the ignition turned to that first position (or any other position after that). First position is the position where the nav and radio turn on.

If the key isn't in the ignition you can't use it at all.

You can keep it ON all the time since the reverse lights etc do not come on and only you will know it's on from seeing the output on the screen...if you have it ON and you pull the X into reverse (R) it will turn on the reverse lights as is normally does etc. and the screen will work as it normally does.

I will not be shipping out tomorrow (Monday) as planned because I just got this stuff up for you guys...but if everyone gets their payment in by end of week I will ship all out on (or before) Friday.

Also I'm getting emails/messages from other people who want to be on the "waiting list" if you first 6 don't want them anymore. So you first 6 don't delay to long

It's a camera mod that will allow you to turn on the rear camera when you want with the flip of a switch rather than only when in reverse (It works the same as it always does if the switch is off and you were to put it into reverse). Some of us find it useful e.g. towing, blindspots etc.
