B1 Service due soon

Hi, does this mean the service is due right now? or will there be another message come up that says due now? Reason i ask is im about to go away for 3 weeks and have been driving around with this on for the last 2 weeks. Was going to get it done when i get back? (I have 7800 miles on a 2011 Tech).

Thanks all.

The next messages you should get will be a "Due Now" message and then a "Overdue" message if you are a bad boy. :-)

Mine is going in tomorrow for this service...they said to drop it off, and the tech would take a few hours to go over everything....I guess i have to believe that...here it will come to $230 including tax(13%) and that is minus the tire rotation...i'm gonna check when I get there on the pricelist....I mean its not too bad if they actually do a good inspection. $60 of it is for an oil change...

Buy your own oil and filter at Walmart, Autozone, Advance, O'Reilly, etc depending on who has the best deals/prices at the time. Then start taking your MDX to your local Honda dealer, you will save quite a bit this way. The only time I have taken my MDX to the Acura dealership was to update the torque converter software and my car came back with a few scratches where they had placed the computer on my dash. Acura techs care no more than Honda techs and Honda techs charge a hell of a lot less, why pay more for the same service. JMO.

Our local Honda dealer charges the same as local Acura dealer for A1 service($40). However the Acura dealer hands you keys to a newish Acura to borrow if you scheduled ahead.

Labor rates are not far off at least locally here.
