2012 Trans Cooler?
Hello,
I will be installing a trailer hitch and was thinking about adding a trans cooler. I noticed there is 3 coolers in front of the radiator including the long narrow one running horizontal below the radiator. Lazy/dumb question- can you guys tell me that the 3 coolers are connected to? Also, has anyone added a trans cooler (assumming there isn't one installed as standard equipment)? Thanks so much! I thought that the 2010+ models come standard with the transmission cooler. My 2011 MDX has it. My 2011 MDX works great for towing and has some stability options that work when you are towing.

2012 Trans Cooler?
I have a 2012 x and tow a 5000 lb boat in 115 degree weather with 3-4 people and the air conditioner running. The temp needle never moves.

I now think the largest secondary cooler (directly in front of the radiator) is a transmission cooler, that the smaller cooler on the passenger side is probably the power steering cooler. Not sure yet what the long horizontal mounted cooler is for.

The MDX has come standard with a high-capacity radiator with twin cooling fans, transmission fluid cooler and Trailer Stability Assist since 2007.
