Best bulb replacement for DRL?

Looking for a different bulb for the DRL either a cleaner white or full on amber. Most bulbs I find seem too high wattage. Also I've heard the LED with pop errors on the DIC

I know if you do a search a bunch of people have used the vleds 5000k or 6000k 28 led bulbs, the thing is i think they all got a bunch of messages eventually because of them. I wanted to put in some 5000k LEDs but cos of the potential messages i just left them with the stock bulbs.

There's no LED solution for DRL, best bet is use a coated halogen bulb but even then they tend to burn out quick. Best to stick with stock or take the risk

..Vleds actually removed the acura bulbs from their website. So i guess there really is no LED solution as Fab stated.

I am running the vleds 5k drl since last Sept, no issues so far.. will see how long it goes.

O that's great, please keep us informed if you get any issues! Did you get the 28 LEDs one? Straight plug and play?

Cool i was about to buy the same ones actually but got scared off by the error messages some people got. Not sure if they have the same ones you got or not. Did you swap out the fogs too or just the DRL?

Felt the same. I had no use for them anymore so just installed them onto my vaccuum. Best mod ever!

I just swap out the DRL for now, will work on the fogs later.. Yea it's the same 28 led 13w 5k I'm running.

I thought it was the HB3 bulbs but i see vleds dont stock them anymore? Just these ones:

Perhaps Omnuts could provide a link if its still up there.

Superbrightleds.com have some, ive bought interior leds for my other suv from there they work great. There's are more blue though they dont have any pure white leds.

^I tried to locate the ones I have, it seems that they are not stock anymore and replaced by the ones you linked. I do see its available in HB4 / 9006, but that is no good. Maybe the new ones will work the same..probably someone will try it out and chime in.
