Navigation Unit for 2007 MDX

Hi,

My Navigation unit stopped working... No more display on the screen (but the display seem to still be powered as I notice the "backlight". I can't access any menu, all buttons have no effect, the rearview camera is no longer displayed also.

After finding where it sits (under the driver's seat) I think I found the cause: salt from the snow on the carpet corroded the unit to the point it stopped working. (I'm in Quebec, Canada, thus the snow).

I've disassembled it, cleaned everything the best I could but it seems the damage was irreversible..

So I am looking for a replacement. Acura ask 2600$ for a new one so I'm looking for alternatives

I've found some on ebay but the part # is slightly different than mine and I'm wondering if it would work.

Mine is (as written on the back of the unit case)
39540-STX-C410-M1

The used ones I've found so far are:
39546-STX-A41

Would this model be compatible?

Any other ideas for replacement or repair are welcomed.

Suggest contacting ebay seller for help. They may know cross-over applications that work.

I found this site:

NAVIGATION SYSTEM - REAR CAMERA for 2007 ACURA MDX

They list a remanufactured one for under $300.00 US. I agree its a different part number than what you have provided, but I'd bet its the same.

I also searched your part number on their site and came up with this, still under $300.00 US:

DVD UNIT, NAVIGATION (RMD) for 2007 ACURA MDX|39540-STX-A41RM

I have 2007 Acura MDX Navigation DVD Drive Player , it was refurbish and still in the plastic and box.

That is customer pay? Is it the same a (RMD)? They are the same price.

DVD UNIT, NAVIGATION (RMD)(CUSTOMER PAY) - 2007 ACURA MDX (39540-STX-A41CP)

I think you send in your DVD drive as core and they swap it with a remanufactured unit.

$257.83 is still cheaper than sending it off for repairs yourself. New repair cost is $358.

Sorry if i am late but i am in Quebec also... the part number on the site should work i am pretty sure but with the number A41, you can be sure it will only be in english
i have différents problems my gps unit is in french but dont suport acuralink wich is in my mdx so bluetooth can't work .. so i am looking at différent possibilities too.
and for what i have seen this site did not ship to canada last time i looked it.
