What Mods to do to 2009 MDX?

Hey guys, I just got a 2009 MDX Sports Package, and I need some suggestions, hopefully with some links on what to do to my MDX.

Modifications should be a matter of personal preference. The MDX is an excellent SUV, bone stock. There's nothing that HAS to be modified. I recommend living with it that way, bone stock, for at least 4-6 months. After that period of time, you may find that there are things YOU wish were in some way different, and those are the things that you should modify. Decide this for yourself after living with the car and getting familiar with it, and don't listen to what anyone else tells you to do.

When you're ready to consider them, Acura makes a wide range of accessories for the car, which you can find listed here. (If you order from that website, which is for a sponsor of mdxers.org and has excellent prices, make sure to use the coupon codes you'll find here, for reduced shipping rates.)

You just bought a car with lots of money. Now you are itching to make it something else, but you do not know what so you are asking other people.

And what's wrong with asking for opinions? Isn't that what the board is about?

exactly, I thought that this whole website was for that purpose. Learn from others with MDX's as well. And I never said I was gonna do anything to it, I just want to know what mods you guys have done to your MDX's, isn't that what differentiates us from the common MDX driver, isn't it? I just needed your guys opinions, because I don't know whats available for the MDX. And yes for all the ignorant people I have already tried google/ andysautosport.

bro thanks alot for your input, ur 1 of the non ignorant people on here. Guess thats why you have to pay for some parts for this website because ignorance is free.

im def gonna put LED's in it, tint the front side windows and top portion of the winshield. Im pretty good at plastidipping but thats going to come later. And keep me updated on that exhaust development, or I might just go and get a cut out.

For my 2004, I got HID headlights (they weren't standard until 2007), a Husky cargo mat, Acura all-season floor mats (for winter use only), a set of winter tires and an extra set of stock Acura wheels, and an
Otto Step Otto Step
(it already had the tow hitch when I got it). The car is exactly the way I want it!

I think going with some aftermarket or other Acura type wheels (IE: ZDX, 19" Advanced wheels) is a good start. IMO I don't like the stock '07-'09 wheels. Its not that they don't look good on the surface, but its the fact that the offset makes them look so tucked in.

I prefer the wider offset look.
