2013 MDX - Installing interior LEDs
Hey,
Just bought a 2013 MDX Base... and want to change all the interior lighting to a blue LED. I found instructions for the older model on here, but was hoping i could find new instructions, for installing and even bulb sizes. Any help would much be appreciated . THanks |

There are lots of threads about it, and there seems to be some kind I glitch when changing one of the rear doors bulbs that will make you blow a fuse or something like that. I stand to be corrected.
Another place where you can find info is on Acurazine Sent from my iPhone using AutoGuide.com App |

I reached out to FAB who i know sells a package for LEDS, but he told me this below in regards to my 2013 model:
"I am pretty confident that the 2012 Dome cannot be changed as they are built into the car. If I see a 2012 model in person again I will check it out in more detail but to my knowledge the LED are built in" so to clarify and confirm with everyone... is this the case in regards to the dome lights? or can this be done, and done easily? Regards, |

I just purchased a 2013 MDX w/Technology package. The dome lights already have LED lights built in. I took the dome lights out to see if any of the VLEDs that I had in my Honda Ridgeline would fit. I have not been able to find any LED replacements that would be brighter (yet).
However, you can replace the visor courtesy lights with LED, the rear hatch lights, and the four door puddle lights. The only ones that would fit that I already had were for the rear hatch. Made a huge difference. |
