Is my backup camera ok>?
Unless my wife and I are wrong, we noticed when the backup camera is on normal and wide view , you can see part of my bumper. which neither of us remember seeing before. Now it looks weird not straight like (3rd view which is looking at the bumper). I tried taking these pictures last night not sure if you can see what i mean.
Please let me know if yours is like this or what can i do about it. I looked outside and the camera seems ok not moved etc. I really want to know , Can you see the bumper in normal and wide view? Thanks Alex P Will upload daytime pictures , sorry Last edited by alex578; 11-25-2012 at 10:04 AM. Reason: adding info |

Rotating pictures to the right would help.
![]() I just went and checked mine, and it looks about the same. Slightly tilted to the left. I think it's done on purpose, but I believe camera's angle can be adjusted. Look at the camera itself. It has 2 small ridges on the opposite sides of the lenses that look like they can be rotated to adjust the camera. I have not tried myself (the angle did not bother me before), perhaps someone can post instructions or manual. Found a similar thread ending with Tim (as in always-there-to-help) offering to send the instructions. http://www.mdxers.org/forums/74-2007...-up-angle.html

Your camera is offset where it's installed on the hatch, not centered. My bumper has always shone in the camera views too. I'd rather see the bumper since it gives me perspective on how much room I have left when backing close to an object or another car.
