Dealer said, Tafetta, Sticker says Aspen
Just a note, was going through the packet of documents in the glove box the other day, and I came upon the original sticker for my 07 Tech...it says that my "Ice Princess" is "Aspen White", which, I wondered, I mean, there's NO "cream" base at ALL to it, and it has the pearlescent flake in the paint. Seems more appropriate for a car named "Ice Princess" to be "Aspen White". Anyway...how common WAS Tafetta White in 07?

Your car should have a sticker with the paint code on the driver's side door jamb. The color code for Aspen White is NH-578, and the code for Taffeta White is NH-677P.
There are 587 listings on Autotrader for a 2007 MDX for sale. 90 of those have a white exterior. 25 of them have the word Aspen in them, and 12 of them have the word Taffeta (spelled properly) in them. The rest of the white listings don't specify which of the two whites they are. If you assume that the listings on Autotrader are representative of all 2007 MDX's, then based on these numbers, 15 percent of them are white - roughly 10 percent Aspen and 5 percent Taffeta. |

Just to throw in another variable: NH814P = AWP II.

The Taffeta was not a very common color, usually special order. That's what I remember I was told when I was looking for my Aspen White.

You have the color codes reversed, Aspen White is NH-677P and Taffeta White is NH-578.
