Look below.

There are few more threads on the forum, try a search. Some even complained of the SRB being very slippery in ice/snow/rain/sand, difficult to load in/put in kids into child seats and especially the middle seat...tis a back breaker, hit men's and womens dress pants and stain them if you get in and out directly to ground *which is not in the case of ARB, cos the exterior is chrome and does not attract dust to swipe against the pants.
Advance running boards give the MDX a more luxurious look. A lot of people i know who had an X with Sports swapped out to advanced boards. They offer an easy way in/out for 2nd and especially 3rd row passengers, protect the doors and lower trim against road hazards and dirt, and make it easy to access the roof (If you have a roof rack installed). Because ARB are wider than SRB, they also offer some protection against side impact (like a shopping cart or kids bike), and have more surface to step on, so in the winter they'd be easier to use for sure, specially parents and elders.

However now that you have already brought it, and installed, keep your original recipts handy, might be needed for warranties.
Thanks MANswers for the link.

I'm still going to get the Sport ones, but now I know to seal them with some Finish Kare 1000p.

Any high temperature issues with running HIDs in fogs' housing assembly?

Space wise, how easy was it to secure HID ballasts in fogs? It seems there's very little extra space in that area.

As for the running boards, I've had the ones you just installed (OEM) for a little over 4 years now on my '09 MDX in Alberta and no issues with corrosion.

Thank you.

Thought I'd post these here. I'm using them on my 08 Si with no issues yet. They have a resistor harness to eliminate the drl light on the dash, which they do, unlike the vleds ones I had prior. I haven't tried them on the x, but I think ill order some once they run a sale.
