right now its in the box in the storage compartment. I mainly got the hitch for a bike rack and cargo basket. I can tow with my truck but I just thought to get the wiring anyway for $15 or so.

Just got mine (Curt) from eTrailers with harness for $160. The local U-Hual shop installed it in 30 minutes for $34 while I had luinch! Can't beat that!

Wiring question

Wow if Uhaul does it for $34 that is totally worth it...

I just installed my curt hitch today and it took me a few hours...
First. I didn't notice the outside set of muffler hangers...so took me awhile to get the mufflers down ... My bad.. Removed the ones farther up the vehicle for nothing... Then noticed the other outsiquestioning the back..

Then the hitch was a very tight fit.. Had to use hammer..And some lube and some 4 letter words...like uggh

Then the curt instructions said the bolts were 22mm and 10mm but the second one was actually 18mm which is an odd size... So had to go buy an 18mm socket and a wrench since socket wouldn't fit the bottom one.
It seems every metric set skips 18mm....

I installed the curt t connector module also .... It gets no power unless car is running e.g. Just turning Lights on or brake on does nothing unless car is running.. No biggie just an observation...

One question tho... With lights on only I measure 13v on the green, yellow and brown wires of the 4pos plug... I would expect that only the brown wire would be hot.. .?
I currently have no trailer for a Load..only a receiver light module.

I would expect the same. Did you get a good ground connection on the vehicle? For a few dollars you can pick up a cheap test light to confirm. It may show 13V on an open circuit but it could drop when a load is placed on it.

update:
Yea it must read 13v on all leads w/ no load
but it is working properly..
I changed the bulb in my receiver light module so running and brake lights would work and it works fine.
