I did mine
Very easy...you will need a torx 10 tool bit to do it.
I found instructions and part number on this site...do a search.

If you know how to use a screw driver and connect/disconnect few connectors you can do it in < 30 min.

I don't know if I posted this, but it happened on both mirrors on my 06TL, both were replaced under warranty.

What year is your X? Original or the Acura Care Extended Warranty?

The Acura Care Extended Warranty should take care of it. I had two issues with my seat taken care of, seat memory issues and seat heater. Both were done while under Acura Care extended warranty.

I bought my 08 X private within the last month...do you know if i can go to an Acura dealer and get this replaced somehow? I do have all of the above issues.

included pic to show part and price.
Acura dealer(in Canada) close to my home priced it at $50 + tax.

^^don't get your hopes up on a final fix.

i've had my passenger side mirror motor actuator replaced twice already. once on the driver's side. all covered under warranty (factory and CPO).

i had a RLX loaner a couple of months ago...the mirror actuator was starting to bind at 7mos old and 8k miles. told my SA about the loaner...i'm assuming they cleaned it or replaced it.

if you have acuracare warranty you would covered. if you're out of warranty....it's on your dime if you go to the dealer.
