05 Factory sub woofer enclosure size?

Did a forum search and could not come up with the specs for the factory 10" sub woofer enclosure on a 2005 (such as internal airspace, sealed, ported etc...). Anyone have an idea?

Somebody has to know this, or at least where to obtain the info...

Didn't think of asking there, thanks.

It is pretty much free air. Uses all the space of the rear passenger fender area.
I made a 3/4" MDF spacer and put a real subwofer and amplifier in there but it was marginal. I just have a regular single 10" box in rear storage area right now. If I ever get around to it, I will fiberglass an enclosure in that area to free up the hatch area once again but there is enough room for me as I have removed the 3rd row seats.

Thanks for the input. I'm getting ready to start a sub enclosure here in the next month or so and saw a build where somebody incorporated the factory box with their own fiberglass box (though it was an 07 or 08 MDX). I figured I'd have to seal up the stock box if the 05 had one (he did), but I didn't know the stock sub just used the entire rear fender area... No matter, just a little less space to work with now, as I'll just glass to the depth of the factory 10" and seal it off... Nice to see other MDX owners not happy with the stock audio, and actually do something about it! How does your RF sound, and what are you using to power it?
